Rachel is a native of Elizabethton, TN. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors in 2006 with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Freed-Hardeman University, where she also played softball and was a NAIA Scholar Athlete All-American. She continued her education, earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from East Tennessee State University.
Rachel has five years of clinical experience. Since graduating, Rachel has treated many patients with a focus in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, spinal rehab using the McKenzie Method, and neurological rehabilitation. Rachel is very active in her community, providing free injury screenings, organizing local 5ks, and providing athletic training coverage to local teams. Rachel also serves as an adjunct professor at King University. She and her husband Charles, who also is a physical therapist with Champion Physical Therapy, are active in their community and church.
