Mike is a native of Johnson City. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from East Tennessee State University in 2013.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Mike served 12 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as an Assault Section Leader, Weapons Platoon Commander and ultimately Company Executive Officer. During this time, he was deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning multiple awards—including the Combat Action Ribbon. Mike’s clinical experience includes orthopedic, sports and neurological rehabilitation, with special interests in runner’s injuries and Kinesiotaping. Mike has three years of clinical experience.
