Julie earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA in 2014. Prior, she earned her Bachelor’s of Education in Business and Marketing from Salisbury State University in Salisbury, MD in 2002.
Julie was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, but transitioned through many states where she spent most of her time in Westminster, MD. She was involved in many competitive sports being gymnastics, cheerleading, and amateur boxing. She still enjoys running, cross fit, and yoga. She has competed in fitness/figure competitions and participated in Miss Fitness USA. She lives in Knoxville where she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Julie has been a personal trainer since 2006 and has been dedicated to providing health and fitness education to help individuals reach their highest potential. Julie has had 3 years of clinical experience and has in depth training in manual treatments of orthopedic conditions. She has had a year of internal mentoring focusing on clinical reasoning and advanced manual interventions, as well as over two years of classes through IAMT towards her COMT (Certification of Orthopedic Manual Therapy). Julie offers a well-versed range of programming, treatment, and modalities for restoring function and mitigating disability. Her goal is to provide the highest quality care to her patients to help achieve their highest potential. She hopes to provide an atmosphere where people can enter into a positive environment to receive the highest quality care.
