James is a Tennessee native and a 2006 graduate of Hendersonville High School. In high school, he was a state champion in football and a four-year athlete of track and field. He received his Bachelor of Exercise Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2011. During his undergraduate studies at UTC, he worked as a fitness coach for the school’s student population. Prior to his entry into graduate school, James continued to work as a fitness coach in the Chattanooga area where he helped individuals and athletes of all backgrounds maximize their performance through training, injury prevention, and nutrition. James then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University.
James’ clinical experience has been focused in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation in patients with non-operative and post-operative pathology of the shoulder, wrist, knee, ankle, hip, and back. Being a new graduate, he brings a variety of new techniques to the physical therapy field and innovative interventions that will better serve his patients’ success.
James’ Vision: To utilize my skills and give back to the community through my physical therapy services. I will assist others in achieving their personal goals while enhancing their functional performance and overall quality of life.
